Mainframe Developer

ROLE NAME : MAINFRAME DEVELOPER

LOCATION : TORONTO,ON(HYBRID)

DURATION : 12+ MONTHS (LONGTERM CONTRACT)

Role Description :

Minimum 7-10 years experience in the IT Industry, and ideally with some exposure to host mainframe environment. Experience working in an agile environment an assetTechnical skills :

1. Application languages (Cobol, JCL, SQL, Assembler will be an asset)

2. Interactive program development tools (TSO experience preferred)

3. Security and environment control systems (ACF2, Endevor), Problem Management (Service Now), Database Management (e.g. VSAM, DB2, IMS)

4. Utilities and productivity tools (e.g. ACR, UCANDU, COMPAREX, IDCAMS, CRF, SYNCSORT, etc.)

5. Multiple operating platforms and operating systems (MVS Mainframe)

6. Familiar with Network, LAN TCP / IP, security and communication protocol concepts desirable

7. Data Power experience desirable

Competencies : AS400_COBOL, System Z - Security Management (ACF / RACF), System Z - JCL, IT IS_AMS_Mainframe_DB2 Administration, ServiceNow
