Our client, a leading firm in litigation well established internationally , is looking for a seasoned Litigation Lawyer to join its team based in downtown Toronto .

YOUR ROLE :

In this once-of-a-lifetime opportunity, your responsibilities will include, among others :

In accordance with partners, take charge of files from initial assessment to trial;

Advise clients on insurance litigation matters;

Provide legal analysis and advice;

Attend examinations, review documents, submit filings to court;

Work independantly on trials, mediations or other hearings;

Take part of the business development plan;

Offer mentorship to Junior Lawyers;

Perform pratice management tasks upon request;

Meet other legal and business priorities as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS :

Member of the Ontario Bar in good standing;

A minimum of a 6 years experience in insurance litigation;

Experience with civil and professional liability and indemnity;

Demonstrated advocacy abilities and outstanding communication skills;

Creativity, integrity and rigor.
