Mechanical Sales Representative

- Develop plans to grow business and expand market share by working in tandem with the Branch Manager and Regional Vice President.
- Develop relationships with staff to coach them on creating strong business relationships with mechanical contractors.
- Train all outside sales and project managers within the division.
- Work with the mechanical division team to do take-offs, pricing, and tender preparation for projects.
- Responsible for issuing purchase orders to manufactures and releasing equipment for production.
- Work with their team to ensure all quotes are prepared and ready on the requested tender date.
- Attend job sites to assess and evaluate potential problems.
- Weekly project review meetings with the mechanical division team.
- Responsible for negotiating and securing purchase orders.
- Perform annual performance reviews with the team to assess strengths and areas for opportunity.
Qualifications :
5+ years sales experience.Post-Secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.Eng, EIT, CET, or MET certification is required.Working knowledge on how to read and interpret construction drawings is ideal.Experience working with or selling mechanical equipment would be considered an asset.
