SISIP Financial

SISIP Financial offers a full suite of financial solutions tailored to the realities of Canadian Armed Forces members and their families. In addition to conventional insurance, investment, and financial advice products, we provide preventative financial education and counselling to support financial well‑being. Our commission‑free environment and social‑enterprise model help fund programs that benefit the Canadian Armed Forces community. SISIP Financial services are available virtually and in‑person through 23 offices across Canada, with our national office in Ottawa.

The Role

The Licensed Financial Services Assistant supports advisors assigned by their manager. Responsibilities include proactively calling clients for appointments, preparing for meetings, following up on transfers and transactions, and completing all administrative tasks from start to finish. You will liaise with clients, advisors, and fund companies to facilitate trade requests and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Qualifications

Education, Certifications and Licenses

  • College diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration or a related field, plus several years of experience in office administration, banking, or a related field.
  • Mutual Fund License.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Investment Funds in Canada Course (IFC).

Experience

  • Administrative services in a financial planning, counseling, and / or insurance environment.
  • Office administration.
  • Maintaining filing systems.
  • Proofreading.
  • Data entry, data manipulation, record‑keeping and retrieval techniques.
  • Drafting correspondence and reports.

  • Responsibilities

  • Support clients in implementing investment strategies to achieve their goals.
  • Assist in client discovery through pre‑meeting information gathering and delivery to advisors.
  • Organize marketing activities on behalf of advisory professionals.
  • Support business growth of assigned branches through outbound calls, prepare client / prospect lists, and track progress.
  • Liaise with clients, advisors, and fund companies to facilitate trade requests.
  • Assist with the set‑up of client files and ongoing maintenance, including proactively booking reviews and Know Your Client (KYC) updates.
  • Comply with regulatory, legal, security, confidentiality, and ethical requirements.

  • Language Requirement : English essential; Bilingual (English and French) an asset.
  • Reading : Functional.
  • Writing : Functional.
  • Oral : Functional.
  • Start Date : February 2, 2026.
  • Location : On‑site; work 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM, Monday‑Friday.
