Job description
We are a young family in St. Catharines, Ontario, in need of a full-time, live-out nanny to care for our 2-year-old daughter. The ideal candidate will provide attentive and engaging care for our toddler while also working collaboratively alongside us, as one parent is at home during the day. We are looking for an energetic, relatable professional who can foster a comfortable, friendly dynamic and become a valued extension of our household. The position requires 40 hours a week (8 hours a day) and offers a competitive hourly wage of $22.00. Responsibilities: • Childcare: Ensure the safety, well-being, and daily engagement of our 2-year-old daughter. • Household Assistance: Proactively help with daily household tasks. When our daughter is resting or occupied, duties will shift to light housekeeping, assisting with meal preparation, and maintaining a clean, organized environment. Skills Required: • Prior experience working with toddlers in a professional or childcare capacity. • A proactive work ethic with the ability to identify household tasks that need attention. • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain a friendly, team-oriented environment alongside a stay-at-home parent. • First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).
