You will lead the production operations at the plant, delivering key performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volume, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale. You will implement our manufacturing strategy, build a high‑performing organization, and ensure continuous improvement and a zero‑loss mindset.
In addition, you will own the reliability engineering function, improving the reliability and maintainability of plant equipment, reducing downtime, and driving progressive maintenance best practices.
Responsibilities
Manage change and transformation across operating teams, implementing IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma and Factory of Future line‑centric organization.
Support annual operational plans and targets, coaching line leaders and communicating plans to ensure alignment on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and engagement.
Establish governance to review, control, and continuously improve operational performance with a zero‑loss mindset.
Lead and implement manufacturing standards, governance, and compliance requirements (Corporate Quality, Food Safety & GMP, Health, Safety, Security, Environment, Sustainability, Code of Conduct, local legal requirements, internal audit).
Drive talent, capability, and engagement initiatives—attract, retain, develop critical talent, and build capabilities at all levels.
Own the reliability improvement process : develop maintenance strategies, analyze breakdowns, implement counter‑measures, and reduce GE loss from unplanned downtime.
Collaborate with maintenance planners to optimize preventive maintenance plans and shutdowns, and monitor key performance indicators such as MTTR, MTBF, BD impact on GE, operational losses, and minor stops.
Develop and maintain procedures, standards, training materials, and technical documentation for maintenance and reliability.
Interface with OEMs to clarify equipment procedures and update relevant standards.
Conduct equipment criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance efforts and allocate resources.
\ Identify capability gaps within the maintenance team and lead improvement initiatives.
Ensure new projects integrate with existing PM standards, updating functional location structures, PM plans, stock‑room inventory, and technical documentation.
Perform root‑cause analysis, breakdown elimination, and predictive maintenance activities as needed.

Qualifications
Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in the CPG industry, with expertise in TPM, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma.
Excellent verbal and written communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a team environment.
Engineering background with financial and business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
Strong SAP PM skills—analysis of functional location structure, work notifications, orders, maintenance plans, cost, stockroom inventory, and parts movement.
Expertise in root‑cause analysis, breakdown elimination, and predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, infrared, oil analysis).
Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
Education
Completed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
Benefits & Compensation
Base salary range : CAD 84,500 – 105,650. Eligible for a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 8%.
