Salary: $75,000 - $100,000

We are currently looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join our construction team. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will assist in the development and build of remarkable buildings, fostering enduring relationships with our people, partners, and clients while maintaining the Broccolini core values, One Team, One Dream, Caring at our Core, Powered by Passion and We Make it Happen.

What you'll do as an Assistant Superintendent:

• Act as the liaison between the Site Superintendent and trade labor force;
• Maintain daily construction log in conjunction with the Site Superintendent;
• Developand managetrade, client,andconsultantrelationships
• Review / provide input on MS Project schedule
• Prepare and maintain various site communication/documentation with head office and site;
• Consistently collaborate withthefield staff andtheproject team to ensure thatHSE,performance, productivity,andquality, and safety
  requirements are met.
• Coordinate with municipal inspections and/or professional inspections;
• Maintain familiarity withHealth & Safety responsibilities and duties;
• Attend and participate in site meetings, prepare meeting agendas, record meeting minutes and prepare for distribution as directed;
• Verify/ documentdaily onsite worker count, man hours,andmaterialsand rental equipment.
• Obtain labor requirements from Site Superintendent and coordinate to sign on laborers when required;
• Allocate tasks to laborers daily according to the Site Superintendents instructions;
• Maintain inventory of required materials and place order accordingly;
• Ensure thatdeficiencies are
  nonconforming work isaddressed, and that the highest level of quality control is maintained.
  

What you bring:

• A high school diploma or post-secondary diploma in Engineering, Architecture or equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of the construction field
• Exceptional communication skills
• Above-average organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines, to manage time effectively and to work in a fast-paced environment.
