Job DescriptionMDSearch is recruiting for a seasoned physician to join our dynamic and expanding clinical team in North Vancouver. The programs focus on preventive medicine in our interdisciplinary team approach. You'll have the opportunity to help us shape the future of healthcare by focusing on the uniqueness of each individual and delivering improved health experiences for everyone.
Areas of focus: Annual Preventive Health Assessments
Status: Contractor
Schedule: Flexible, 2-3 days per week. Can complement your existing practice
Remuneration: 4 hours per day maximum, compensated at a rate of $300.00 per hour
What You'll Do:
Primary Clinical Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive 1-hour Preventative Health Assessments including history-taking, physical examination, and health risk evaluation
- Review and interpret laboratory results, diagnostic findings, and health screening data
- Prepare personalized health assessment reports based on clinical findings and evidence-based recommendations
- Deliver 30-minute follow-up consultations to present findings and discuss health recommendations
- Collaborate with allied health team members including dietitians, kinesiologists, laboratory technicians, nurses, and medical office assistants
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with the clinics standards and regulatory requirements
No treatment involved – focus purely on preventative assessments.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution
- Active registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSB)
- Current CMPA (Canadian Medical Protective Association) coverage
- Commitment to patient-first care and team-based collaboration
Nice to have
- Experience in private healthcare delivery or concierge executive health
- Familiarity with the lifestyle and work demands of executive-level clients
