5 Million annual visitors to thecommunities of Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Clearview and the Blue Mountains.CGMH is an acute care hospital providing emergency care, diagnostic servicesincluding lab, imaging and cardio respiratory therapy, as well as two inpatientunits (medicine and surgery).

Qualifications :
- College Diploma from Respiratory Program
- CBRC exam completed
- General Certificate ofRegistration with the CRTO
- Must have current NRP, ACLSand BCLS
- Must strive to continuously provide asafe and supportive environment for patients, staff, physicians, and volunteers
- Must adhere to the duties of workers, asstipulated in the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Must have an ability to effectivelycommunicate (written and verbal) in the English language in order to provideexcellent communication with team members, patients and families.
Ability tocommunicate in additional language(s) is considered an asset.
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must be dedicated to professional growth& development
- Must be able to perform all bona fideand essential duties of the position, which may include physical demands suchas moving / transferring patients, pushing, pulling, bending, etc.
- Must have demonstrated excellentattendance / performance record
- Excellent organization andprioritization skills
- Ability to work independently andeffectively communicate with other members of the health care team

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide Respiratory Therapy coverage to thehospital - including the adult / paediatric and neonatal population.
- Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plan.
- Teaching and counseling patients / families.
- Promoting continuous quality improvement.
- Perform timely and accurate documentation.
- Perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) tests.
- Conduct pulmonary function testing.
