IT Infrastructure Manager

Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Oversee and optimize on-premise servers, networking equipment, and data storage solutions across multiple locations in Canada and the US.
  • Manage cloud services, including Azure and M365, ensuring integration and performance align with business needs.
  • Supervise the helpdesk team to ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Develop and implement helpdesk policies and procedures to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect the organization’s data and infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
  • Manage building security systems and vendors, including cameras, building access, and alarm systems.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the IT infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and service-oriented environment.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships related to IT infrastructure.
  • Develop and execute long-term strategies for IT infrastructure to support organizational goals.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on cloud services, on-premise servers, and cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of Azure, M365, networking, and server management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing helpdesk operations and team leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ and Microsoft Certified : Azure Administrator Associate
  • Experience leading disaster recovery and business continuity planning & tabletop exercises.

Preferred Skills :

  • Advanced certification such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, leading both internal and external technical resources.

This is a hybrid role based out of our HQ in Richmond, BC. Depending on experience, we're offering a salary between $110,000 - $140,000 with a 15% bonus.
