Locum Emergency Medicine New Glasgow

Aberdeen Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide Locum coverage during a period of active recruitment.

Responsibilities

• provide leadership in the resuscitation and stabilization of major trauma patients and critically ill patients
• appropriately assess and manage the full spectrum of emergency medicine presentations from injury to unexpected and undifferentiated medical and surgical illness in all ages to mental health emergencies

Expected Hours

Compensation is provided by the service and locum physicians are eligible to access the travel elements of the program including reimbursement for kilometrage per diems accommodations (up to $300 per night) and airfare (up to $1500) along with travel time up to 10 hours per week. Licensing fees for CPSNS are covered and locum physicians may claim Facility On Call fees under specific conditions.
