Job Summary Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Administrator will ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll for multiple companies within the RSG International group of Companies while ensuring compliance with government legislation. Responsibilities Perform payroll department operations within a timely matter for multiple companies (union and non-union) including processing weekly payroll, retroactive payments, taxable benefits, garnishments, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and legislation Assist in all year-end payroll tasks including T4 processing, T4 Reconciliations and PIER analysis Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information Prepare and report source deductions, WSIB, EHT, union dues, group benefit remittances and RRSP contributions Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all payroll remittances and reports Maintain filing of documents, employee files and issue ROE’s as required Prepare annual working papers for the annual external audit of payroll Assist Payroll Manager with special projects Perform other accounting and administrative duties as may be requested Qualifications Diploma or degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. PCP designation is an asset 2+ years of hands-on experience processing payroll High level of attention to detail Experience processing payroll through ADP and / or Ceridian Dayforce an asset Experience working with union payroll an asset Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
