AME Contractors - Heavy Check Operations
PAL is a leader in international aerospace and defense design, development and operation of airborne surveillance aircraft, line maintenance, heavy maintenance checks and modifications.
We provide a wide range of aviation and related services to domestic and international markets.
PAL is currently seeking qualified applicants for contract positions as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M, S & E) at our MRO Facility based in Winnipeg, MB .
Note : We are hiring both licensed and unlicensed Contractors at this time
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Carry out the repair, servicing, modifications on various aircrafts;
- Troubleshooting;
- Comply with all company safety practices and procedures;
- Complete all required documentation and certification of journey log entries for the work accomplished related to the aircraft maintenance performed;
- Be familiar with all Transport Canada and company documents pertaining to your work;
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an AME;
- Working knowledge of Dash 8 or ATR aircraft would be an asset
- Must have a Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or have equivalent experience through a program such as the International Correspondence School;
- Must possess strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills;
- The ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Trouble shooting skills;
- Must be able to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check prior to employment.
