The Role : HR Administrator & Benefits Specialist
You’ll provide essential administrative support to our HR team across Marine and Industrial divisions while managing the front reception area at our Chilliwack facility.
Responsibilities Include :
Front desk reception and visitor supportMaintaining office supplies, coffee inventory, and communication boardsCoordinating mail / courier distribution and safety protocol communicationSupporting HR functions such as : Employment verification lettersRecruitment assistance (screenings, interviews, onboarding)Benefits administration (enrollment, updates, terminations)RRSP enrollment and changesOrientation scheduling and training record managementAttendance monitoring and job description updatesActing as a subject matter expert for benefit programsAssisting with company events and culture initiatives (BBQs, raffles, holiday parties)Maintaining HR files and documentation per AdvanTec standardsWhat You Bring
Minimum 6 months’ experience in HR or administrative supportPost-secondary education in HR (asset)Manufacturing experience (asset)Strong proficiency in MS Office SuitePositive, outgoing attitude with excellent customer service skillsExceptional organizational and time management abilitiesAttention to detail and strong communication skillsThank you for considering a career with AdvanTec Marine.
