Overview
The Granite Club is looking for a part time Parking Services Associate who will report to the Parking Services Manager. The Parking Services Associates are responsible for ensuring efficient traffic flow for Members, Guests, Staff, Contractors and deliveries. Parking Services Associates should be positive, professional and naturally focused on Granite Gold service at the core of every interaction. Each member of the Parking Services Team is responsible for building relationships of trust and support with their co-workers and Staff in all departments. Unique to this role, the Parking Services team has a direct influence upon every Member, Staff, and Granite Guest experience.

Primary Responsibilities
- Greet Members, Guests and Staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor the Main Driveway Circle and ensure vehicles are not being left unattended.
- Ensure the Gatehouse entranceway is attended by at least one Parking Attendant at all times.
- Engage all vehicles that do not have RFID parking permits visibly displayed.
- Investigate and email all blocked RFID permits to the Parking Services Manager for further review.
- Control Club access for all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
- Set up barriers and pylons to coordinate traffic flow or closures as necessary.
- Complete a Daily Pass-On to log all incidents, infractions and a summary of the day’s events.
- Provide coverage for the Main Driveway Circle, St. Clair Lobby (1B), Staff double parking (3B) and valet parking as required.
- Ensure all administrative tasks and daily checklists are completed for the efficient operation of the department.
- Maintain traffic flow and assist with directions to parking spots and locations within the Club.
- Ensure the Identipark System (vehicle counting system) is running without glitches, maintained and counting vehicles properly.
- Ensure the Gatehouse, garage; entranceway and pedestrian walkway are clean and well maintained. Duties may include shoveling and salting if necessary.
- Handle cash for any meal tickets sold to Contractors.
- Review e-mails, procedures, memos, daily functions, voicemails, and departmental computer systems for details regarding daily operations.
- Coordinate to ensure all after hour deliveries are received by the appropriate department.
- Maintain high standards of professional personal appearance and body language at all times (Granite Gold).
- Duties, scheduling and responsibilities may be modified based upon business requirements.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Required Qualifications
- Preferred to have a valid driver’s license (G Level) and experience driving both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Must be professional, polite, courteous and pleasant in attitude.
- Must have strong customer relationship and service skills.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English fluently.
- Minimum Grade 12 education required.
- Basic computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Current First Aid and CPR an asset. Training will be provided by the Club as required.
- To be flexible to work variable shifts; evenings, weekends and holidays.
Compensation
- The hourly rate for this position is $27.08
