Work Schedule : Sunday - Thursday (3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM)
Salary : $42,000 - $45,000 annually.
JOB OVERVIEW :
You will be responsible for ensuring your building looks clean, presentable, and inviting at all times. You will be responsible for supervising the day to day maintenance of common areas and washrooms, ensure quality control and training new hires.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Oversee daily duties of both light and heavy-duty custodiansTrain new hires and foster BEST’s company culture, mission, and valuesMaintain open communication with Assistant Site Manager / Site Manager regarding staffing issues, safety, supplies, and other related business concernsFacilitate staff meetings as required to implement policies, procedures, and safety requirementsMaintain and secure storage areas and cleaning equipment / supplies ensuring the safety of staff and the publicPerform minor equipment repairs and report vandalismReport equipment repairs and stock shortagesOther duties as required per business needsSKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Strong verbal and written communication skillsGood understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety ActKnowledge of WHMIS and standard cleaning products, chemicals, and procedures, is an assetBasic computer and smartphone knowledge with experience using MS Office programsAbility to effectively analyze, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlinesREQUIREMENTS :
