We invite applications for the temporary position of:

NIDES teachers guide successful learning by providing personalized online learning courses using diverse instructional technology. NIDES teachers commit to working online and face-to-face with students colleagues and parents. Teachers actively research develop and maintain advanced online curriculum and support blended instruction in classrooms learning centers and through tutorials. They teach students province wide & work on-site at a Comox Valley School.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Training certification and/or direct experience teaching in an online learning (OL) environment
• Advanced skills in maintaining an online classroom in a learning management system
• Advanced skills in supporting assessment for learning (AFL) assessment practices and documentation for students parents and educators
• Dedication and experience developing and implementing online learning platforms within the modern languages portfolio (Brightspace Zoom Teams) to enhance student learning
• Ability to work with and provide tutorial support for students online and in person
