Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team on a contract basis for three months. Based in East York, Ontario, this role involves managing full-cycle payroll operations for a diverse workforce, including retail employees. Responsibilities :

• Process full-cycle payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage payroll operations using Workday systems, including data input and reporting.
• Handle payroll for retail employees, addressing any specific requirements.
• Ensure timely payment processing and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Administer employee benefits and deductions within payroll systems.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure confidentiality.
• Generate detailed payroll reports and provide insights to management.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to streamline payroll processes.
• Stay updated on Canadian payroll legislation and practices to ensure compliance.
• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll administration.
• Proficiency in using Workday Payroll and Workday Financial Management systems.
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll regulations and best practices.
• Ability to process payroll for a diverse workforce, including retail employees.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with teams and address payroll inquiries.
• Certification in payroll or related field is preferred.
