Job description

Position : Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Location : Downtown Montreal

Shift : Weekday Day Shift

Industry : Heavy Machinery

Salary : $39 to $52 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Repair, adjust, and troubleshoot rolling equipment
  • Diagnostics and continuous improvement
  • Track parts and materials used
  • Qualifications

  • Hold a D.E.P. in heavy vehicle mechanics or industrial mechanics
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanics (industrial or heavy vehicle)
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Know how to weld using MIG and TIG
  • Own a toolbox
  • Enjoy working outdoors in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
