Reporting to the Day Shift Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for producing quality products that meet company specifications while following proper GMP procedures.

This recruitment post is for full-time role based at our Manufacturing plant located in Oakville. The incumbent shall be on an Afternoon schedule.

Qualifications :

2+ years of experience in production and packaging in the food industry is preferable

High school diploma or equivalent

Ability to safety operate a forklift and other material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (36.5 kg)

Proven track record of reliability and safety

Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to read and follow written instructions

Role Responsibilities :

Prepare various products to specifications using a formula sheet

Weight, measure, mix ingredients according to specific recipes

Operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring proper settings and adjustments

Follow established procedures and recipes to ensure consistency and quality of products

Maintain accurate of ingredients used, batch numbers and production times

Complete all documentation required for each batch of products including pre-operation form, temperature charts, record weights and product yield

Bring product samples to Quality Assurance for inspection / release and advise QA of any product deviations Maintain cleanliness of work area

Follow all Health and Safety, GMP and food safety policies and regulations reporting any deviations to the Supervisor
