Job descriptionInjection mould experience is an asset. CNC programming and machining experience is an asset. Proficiency with machine shop tools. Strong mathematical skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience with Vertical Manual and CNC Milling Machines, Lathes, and Surface Grinders. Skilled in using hand tools, micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators. Crane and lift truck experience is an asset. 2+ years of work experience in an industrial environment is preferred. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist / CNC Programmer-Operator to join our team in Brantford, Ontario. In this role, you will play a vital part in the manufacturing process, utilizing your mechanical expertise to construct, repair, and maintain plastic injection moulds with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Construct and repair plastic injection moulds.
- Focus on detailed fit, function, and assembly.
- Incorporate engineering changes, repairs, and maintenance.
- Perform precision machining, grinding, for dimensional accuracy.
