Job Description

Title : Talent Acquisition Specialist

Reports To : Talent Acquisition Manager

Based at : Mucci Pac Ltd., Kingsville, Ontario

Revised : October 17, 2024

Type of Employment : Full time, 18-month contract (Maternity), extended hours depending on workload and priorities, which may include Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
• Determine selection criteria
• Source potential candidates through online channels (eg : social platforms and professional networks)
• Identify best practices for recruiting and sourcing candidates to ensure effectiveness for time to hire
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including pre-screening candidates, assessments, skills testing, panel interviews, references
• Create and update job descriptions to reflect position requirements
• Organize employer branding initiatives related to recruiting
• Source and organize various recruitment events such as career fairs, online campaigns, etc.
• Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
• Maintain a database of both active and potential candidates

The incumbent will be committed to customer service excellence and leading by example. A positive attitude in the workplace is required as is the ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures.

Compensation

Compensation : 50,000 - 55,000 per year, onsite parking, company perks
