The Opportunity

WSP is seeking an engineer to join our Land Development and Municipal Engineering Team at our Kingston office. The role focuses on local municipal and land development projects in Kingston and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include execution and review of storm, water, and wastewater design tasks; site servicing and feasibility studies; stormwater management and grading design; technical design and reporting; project management; business development; and responding to proposal requests.

What you can expect to do here

An engineer begins the week with a team huddle with engineers, graduates, technologists, and project managers. They dive into technical details, completing detailed design calculations, reports, and reviewing intricate drawings and technical specifications for municipal and land development projects. Collaboration with architects, contractors, and clients ensures compliance with zoning laws and regulations. The work blends office-based design with on-site application, contributing to sustainable development. Engineers support mentorship of young professionals and may take on additional duties as required.
