Our client, The Start Clinic for Mood and Anxiety Disorders, (http : / / www.startclinic.ca), located in Toronto, Ontario, are seeking Psychiatrists who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the field of mental health to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Their goal is to enhance the quality of life of their patients, by delivering a full complement of community based health care services including : comprehensive diagnostic assessment, using the latest of tools, medication based treatment, psychotherapy, Cannabis based treatment, Esketamine based treatment, Group and Individual, Psychodynamic treatment cognitive Cognitive behavioral Behavioral treatment Treatment and mindfulness Mindfulness based treatment. In addition to patient care, the clinic is actively engaged in research to develop innovative approaches to wellness. They also provide business coaching and educational activities to enhance the quality of diagnosis and treatment in the community.
The clinic is located in a high-volume area, in the heart of Toronto with access to an abundance of family and referring physicians. In addition, this clinic boasts a full administrative support staff handling all administrative functions including scheduling and letters to insurers etc., and of course billing. With all of the volumes, scheduling, and billing handled for you… you can focus on practicing medicine!
Scheduling :
Flexible work schedule. The clinic operates 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday, offering physicians the flexibility to choose their working hours. Full time physicians are required to work 4-5 days per week, allowing for a customizable schedule that fits their personal and professional needs. Open to part time candidates and setting up weekend clinics.
Remunerations :Requirements and Education :
- Full independent registration with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada - FRCP (C)
CPSO). Open to candidates requiring supervision.
in Psychiatry or equivalent.
