Our Client, a world renowned international firm, is seeking a plaintiff-side class actions lawyer for their Toronto office. The successful candidate will have 10 years litigating matters under the Class Proceedings Act in Canada.This role provides the on ramp for a profitable and rewarding entry into high stakes global litigation on behalf of shareholders seeking to bring actions against multinational corporations for various corporate actions. While it is not necessary to have exclusive experience in this area, some foundation is required.Location : Downtown TorontoRequirements2-10 years experience in matters governed by the Class Proceedings Act in Canada.ResponsibilitiesConduct legal research and analysis using resources such as Lexis-NexisPrepare legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and pleadingsRepresent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal proceedingsProvide legal advice and guidance to clients on various legal mattersCollaborate with colleagues and external parties to develop strategies and solutionsStay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect clientsMaintain accurate and organized case filesQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice law in the relevant jurisdictionStrong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and practicesExcellent research and writing skillsProficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-NexisExperience in legal drafting, negotiation, and litigationAbility to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound adviceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsIf this role is of interest, please reach out with your CV to : #J-18808-Ljbffr
