As a Structural Engineer you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures while ensuring these structures are safe, stable, and able to withstand various stresses and loads. This involves using engineering software, conducting calculations, preparing drawings, and collaborating with other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis : Developing structural designs, performing calculations for loads, stresses, and materials, and using software for modeling and simulation.
• Technical documentation : Preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Construction oversight : Conducting site visits, inspecting construction progress, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and building codes.
• Collaboration : Working with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop integrated design solutions.
• Material selection : Evaluating and recommending appropriate building and construction materials.
• Code compliance : Ensuring designs and construction meet relevant building codes and regulations.
