Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of over 18,000 residential apartments in four cities across Canada.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and finish drywall (boarding, taping, mudding, sanding)
• Patch drywall holes, cracks, and surface damage
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
• Paint interior and exterior areas of residential apartment buildings
• Apply paint to walls, ceilings, and trim using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
• Mix and match paint colours as required
• Measure work areas and estimate paint and material quantities
• Protect floors, fixtures, and tenant belongings before starting work
• Maintain a clean and safe work area during and after each job
• Complete work orders and ensure units are ready for lease on time
• Load, unload, and move drywall and painting materials
• Remove debris and keep work sites clean and hazard-free
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
• Assist other team members and trades as needed
• Perform other drywall and painting duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in drywall installation, finishing, and painting
• Working knowledge of drywall and painting repair in residential buildings
• Familiarity with applicable building codes, safety standards, and regulations is an asset
• Must have own tools required for drywall and painting work
• Flexible to work regular hours, on-call shifts, weekends, and after-hours emergencies on a rotating schedule
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel
• Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting materials and working on ladders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must successfully complete a security clearance
