The Customer Service Representative engages with customers through inbound and outbound calls and / or online channels. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and / or technical support by resolving routine inquiries and issues related to client products and services. WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll :

Receive incoming contacts from customers interested in purchasing / researching travel by following standard scripts and procedures.

Determine customer reservation needs and preferences by utilizing established question and answer techniques

Greet and converse with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner.

Make recommendations based on the customer needs and preferences.( air, hotel, car and ancillary travel products)

Research travel rates, destinations, options, and packages for customers.

Process travel transactions by entering accurate and complete reservation information into the relevant systems

Read legal scripts verbatim while maintaining sales and quality standards.

Professionally and accurately support customer requests for itinerary changes or cancellations.

Correctly answer general travel and site related questions from customers

Deliver expert customer experiences…with a smile.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Your skills, integrity, knowledge, and genuine compassion will deliver value and success with every customer interaction. Other qualifications for our Customer Service Representative role include :

High school degree or equivalent (required)

Travel savvy : passion / experience with travel

Sales / service experience in retail, sales, service or other "helping" business (preferred)

Willingness to work flexible shifts ( Mon-Fri 8am-1am AST, Sat-Sun 8am-10pm AST)

TICO certification (preferred)

GDS experience for Service Agents (preferred

Proficiency in a multi-system environment

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English

Typing 35 wpm as verified by a formal test

Excellent computer skills and eagerness to excel at technical systems and internal tools

Eagerness to learn new technologies

The base salary for this position is $18.00 / hr. (pay rate will not be below the applicable minimum wage), plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
