Responsibilities
Strategic Design: Drive the implementation design for Funding and Liquidity systems across forecasting, execution, and regulatory reporting.

Stakeholder Leadership: Act as the primary liaison between technical development teams and senior business stakeholders to align the vision with execution.

Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to perform deep-dive data elicitation, gap analysis, and validation across complex financial data sets.

Infrastructure Optimization: Bring industry best practices to identify opportunities for optimizing funding decision-making through better infrastructure and reporting.

Requirements Management: Lead requirements planning, elicitation, and prioritization in an Agile environment, delivering structured documentation for diverse audiences.

Qualifications
Must-Have:

Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis, specifically within Capital Markets, Treasury, Liquidity, or Risk/Finance functions.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL and superior data analysis capabilities.

Education: Minimum of an Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics).

Communication: Exceptional facilitation skills with a proven track record of leading discussions with both technical quants and business executives.

Nice-to-Have:

Advanced Education: Master’s degree or relevant industry designations (CFA, FRM).

Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).

Domain Expertise: Prior experience with Asset Liability Reporting (ALM) and/or Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP).

Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of Capital Markets financial products (Repos, Swaps, Fixed Income).

Internal Knowledge: Prior experience within a major Canadian bank’s Capital Markets (CM) division.
