Instructor, Practical Nursing (RN Needed)

The Opportunity:

This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to make an impact on future health care workers, by training upcoming Practical Nurses. The successful Practical Nursing Instructor is primarily responsible for instruction of the Practical Nursing program, and clinical instruction/supervision of students in health care facilities.

Requirements:

• The minimum educational qualification for this position is a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or a related field. A Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field is preferred.
• Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience in the area of medical, surgical and pediatric or obstetrical nursing.
• Must be eligible for registration (active status) with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan.
• Current TLR Certificate.
• Applicants must meet Saskatchewan Polytechnic accreditation requirements.
• Applicants must be in good standing with Saskatchewan Health Authority.
• Demonstrated experience working in a cross-cultural environment.
• Must possess a valid Saskatchewan driver’s license
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check are required
