What does this role entail Reporting to the Vice President Regulatory and collaborating with cross-functional departments the Director Legal & Contracts leads the delivery of in-house legal and contract management services across the organization. This role plays a critical part in enabling business objectives through the development negotiation and execution of commercial agreements while also providing strategic legal guidance across a broad range of matters. You will serve as a trusted business partner ensuring contracts and legal frameworks effectively support operational success risk management and Eastlinks long-term the ideal candidate you: Bring at least five years of progressive experience in commercial or in-house legal environments with a proven track record of drafting reviewing and negotiating complex commercial contracts agreements and vendor as a communicator and negotiator with strong written and oral skills that enable you to translate complex legal issues into clear business-focused a trusted advisor and influencer building credibility with senior leaders and external partners while providing clear actionable guidance to cross-functional both independently and collaboratively taking full ownership of projects from inception through a proactive detail-oriented and agile mindset anticipating challenges identifying innovative solutions and consistently exceeding objectives in support of organizational experience with technology-related commercial transactions (considered an asset).If you are interested in this opportunity please apply through the following link: Director Legal & principles of equal opportunity employment will be upheld throughout this process.
