The role will include establishing long-lasting relationships, servicing existing advisor clients, as well as prospecting for new clients. It will require in-depth knowledge of our products, and advanced sales and interpersonal skills. It is a requirement that the candidate be based in a Vancouver or Vancouver Island.Key Accountabilities include but are not limited to :   Arrange one-on-one or group meetings with financial advisors to promote the company’s products and servicesSchedule and host events, roadshows and portfolio manager meetingsDevelop a strategic business plan twice a year with the team to increase sales from advisors within the territorySegment the client base to define the service levels and to ensure sales from various distribution channels and firmsMaintain and service client relationships using territory rotations in order to increase sales and diversify our product usageWork with the Marketing and portfolio management team to effectively communicate fund objectives and performance within the sales regionData mine & populate the CRM system with all the information retrieved during meetingsRespond to client enquiries and follow up on leadsPresent to advisors on new products, business-building ideas and tax-planning strategiesWork effectively within a supportive team environment to meet and / or exceed company sales objectivesSpecial projects as required.QualificationsUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, or a complimentary business disciplineCanadian Securities Course is essential; CFA and / or CIM is also preferred+3 years of relevant relationship management / industry experience in the investment industryEstablished Portfolio Manager and / or Investment Advisor relationships Strong relationship-building and relationship-management skillsExperience in developing and executing territory business plansCompensation Base Salary $100K-$150K + commissionBenefits include : RRSP matching program of 10% to a maximum of $1,500 per annum.100% company-paid health and dental benefits.Vision CareDisability InsuranceLife insurancePaid Personal Days$50 towards a monthly gym membershipEquity, Diversity & Inclusion The Company is committed to the fundamental principles of equal employment opportunity.
