Our client in GTA, ON is actively looking for a Supplier Quality Launch Engineer to join their team.

Position Description :

• Collaborate with Product Engineering and suppliers to develop PFMEA and participate in APQP activities to ensure product and process readiness.
• Support supplier launch readiness through planning and execution of PPAP, run-at-rate validations, and documentation reviews.
• Communicate project requirements to suppliers and internal teams, and generate reports on launch progress, product capability, and quality status.
• Resolve supplier-related quality and technical issues, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions when necessary.
• Monitor supplier compliance with engineering changes, FIFO, documentation control, and part traceability.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, quality assessments, and support sourcing decisions with risk-based input.
• Oversee QPF system updates, track corrective actions, and coordinate third-party containment as needed.
• Lead monthly quality reviews with key suppliers and internal cross-functional teams.
• Support trial part builds, review run-at-rate data, and verify safe launch protocols are in place.
• Maintain all work in line with IATF , ISO , and company quality and safety standards.
• Travel frequently to supplier sites, including on short notice, to support launch and quality improvement efforts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to supplier development and performance optimization.
