Network / Systems Administrator
The Network / Systems Administrator position is an IT operation, hands-on technical role. Responsibilities include managing and operating IT infrastructure such as network devices, servers, printers, storage, cloud services, telecom equipment and monitoring systems. Along with managing the IT Infrastructure this role also acts as Tier 2 support team for the Service Desk.
Responsibilities :
- Work on multiple infrastructure projects at the same time
- Lead projects from setup to configure to deployment
- IT Operations Management and Support
- Manage IT services and support incidents, service requests, changes, problems and assets related to IT infrastructure
- Resolve tickets escalated from Tier one support team
- Responsible for backups and restoration of data
- Maintain, review and update documentation
- Vendor escalation of setup and support of IT Infrastructure
- Tier 2 On-Call rotation
Qualifications :
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network / Systems AdministratorAdvanced knowledge of Windows Server OS, Windows Desktop OS, Active Directory (AD), MS Exchange, LAN / WAN / VLANS, TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, Certificates, VPN, Voice and telephonyGood experience with Cisco routers, switches and firewalls (CCNA certification an asset)Good experience with Azure administrationAdvanced experience with Windows network serversStrong Office 365 knowledgeIntermediate level of knowledge of IT Security, Alert and event monitoring, MacOSKnowledge of AWS Cloud, Linux an assetAdvanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independentlyTime management skills and ability to juggle priority projects and ticketsThis is a permanent remote / hybrid position with an annual salary of $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 located in Brampton, ON.
