Position Summary :

The Extrusion Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, stable, and efficient operation of the Extrusion Department. This role is critical in delivering consistent output, maintaining world-class safety and housekeeping standards, driving disciplined execution, and fostering continuous improvement through strong leadership, Lean principles, and clear accountability at all levels.

The Extrusion Supervisor is accountable for results—not just activities. Key responsibilities include achieving targets for output, quality, cost, safety, employee engagement, and equipment performance.

Key Accountabilities

1. Safety, Health & Housekeeping (Non-Negotiable)

• Establish and enforce zero-tolerance standards for health, safety, sanitation, and housekeeping.
• Ensure full compliance with all company safety policies, WSIB requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Lead by example through visible floor presence and active safety leadership.
• Conduct regular safety walks, audits, and toolbox talks; ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Own incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action closure.
• Ensure all extrusion areas meet 5S standards at all times—not “before audits”.
