POSITION

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Software Developer to join our team of highly motivated, fun-loving, challenge-seeking individuals who care for one another and for our clients. You will play an active role in product development with responsibility for the design and implementation of complex development software and tools that can both meet our client’s business needs and deliver high performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Previous experience with PxPlus or ProvideX is a minimum requirement.

Designs clean, modular, reusable code structures using the following technologies in C, C++ and other programming languages

Provides input to application design and requirements

Performs unit testing and supports other testing activities

Creates technical documentation as required

Participates in ad hoc special projects as required

Working effectively with other staff members to accomplish work and departmental projects

Communicates regularly with management regarding progress and project status

Prepare and deliver presentations for conferences and trade shows

JOB QUALIFICATIONS :

Post-secondary education in a relevant field – Computer Science or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT / software development environment with a strong focus on complex business applications, web applications and demonstrated success as a developer

Working knowledge of a variety of languages and tools, including C, C++, Java, JavaScript

Working knowledge of web interface design tools such as HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, REST API’s are an asset

Working knowledge with .Net, JSON and XML technologies

Previous experience using Visual Studio Code and Git

Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and shifting priorities

Familiarity with the PxPlus and / or ProvideX products or similar experience
