Authentixians value : Dedicate ourselves to our customers’ successCompete and win with integrityCreate innovative solutions with science and technologyTeam and collaborate with accountabilityJOB SUMMARYJob Title : Technologist, Process Development - Optical FabricationPosition Overview : The Technologist, Process Development will provide essential support to scientists and engineers by executing precision nano and micro-fabrication processes, particularly leveraging advanced nano-imprint lithography (NIL) technology. This hands-on role involves operating sophisticated production equipment, maintaining system integrity, and collaborating closely with technical teams to enhance existing manufacturing processes and develop innovative fabrication solutions.Key Responsibilities : Execute nano and micro-fabrication processes utilizing cutting-edge nano-imprint lithography (NIL) systems.Operate and maintain optical fabrication and production equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to process standards.Support process improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency, yield, and quality.Document processes, monitor results, and contribute to troubleshooting and corrective action implementation.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support ongoing R&D and production scale-up activities.Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with large-scale printing, printed electronics, hologram manufacturing, display manufacturing, or related optical fabrication.Demonstrated experience applying lean manufacturing methodologies for continuous process improvement.Technical proficiency in operating, calibrating, and maintaining advanced fabrication and optical systems.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain precision and accuracy in complex processes.Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for innovative thinking in process optimization.Preferred Skills : Familiarity or direct experience with nano-imprint lithography (NIL) highly desirable.Experience working within optics, photonics, or similar high-tech manufacturing environments.Knowledge of microfabrication techniques, including lithography, etching, and deposition processes.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTSExperience with roll-to-roll machinery, industrial printing processes and experience working with UV / thermal curing resins.Bilingual in French and English is preferred for cross-functional work with our global offices.WORK REQUIREMENTSEnvironment : Work is performed primarily in a standard [production manufacturing / lab] environment. Employees may work under the stress of regular interdepartmental interaction and pressure to meet various deadlines.Physical : Essential functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an [production manufacturing / lab] setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and / or sit for prolonged periods of time; must be able to hear and verbally communicate in order to exchange information in person or over the phone; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist; to lift, carry, push and / or pull up to 50 pounds of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement; to occasionally travel to other locations using various modes of private or commercial transportation.
