The Data Platform Administrator - Business Intelligence will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Business Objects environment. Additionally, the candidate will tap into their expertise in Qlik Sense to develop and manage data visualizations and dashboards. This role requires a blend of technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work closely with various partners.

What you'll do :

Manage and maintain the Business Objects platform, ensuring its availability, performance, and security.

Perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.

Monitor system performance and solve issues as they arise.

Administer and maintain the Qlik Sense environment, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.

Manage user access and security settings within Qlik Sense.

Monitor system performance and optimize for efficiency.

Fix and resolve technical issues related to Qlik Sense.

Design, develop, and maintain Qlik Sense dashboards and reports.

Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Optimize Qlik Sense applications for performance and usability.

Ensure data integrity and consistency across Business Objects and Qlik Sense platforms.

Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any issues related to Business Objects and Qlik Sense.

Conduct training sessions and documentation to help users effectively use the tools.

Work closely with IT, business analysts, and other partners to understand business needs and deliver solutions.

Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring timely delivery of solutions.

What you'll bring :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field an asset.

Minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience in Business Objects administration.

Demonstrable experience with Qlik Sense and Business Objects development and administration.

Proficiency in Business Objects administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

Strong knowledge of Qlik Sense, including data modeling, scripting, and visualization.

Experience with SQL and database management.

Familiarity with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Meticulous with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Snowflake).

Certification in Business Objects or Qlik Sense is an asset.
