We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Key Holder, you’ll be a huge part of our success by supporting the store leadership team in providing the best customer experience and ensuring that fellow fans can get their hands on the merchandise they love. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to help train new recruits and support your Store Manager in daily operations and sales targets.

What You’ll Do

• Provide an amazing shopping experience that encourages customers to return, using your product knowledge and customer experience skills.
• Step in and step up when needed, providing leadership support and helping run the store when the Manager is unavailable.
• Understand the store sales plan and comp sales goals, and help drive sales by increasing key KPIs : UPT and ADT.
• Cover the sales floor zone and ensure assigned areas meet visual standards; also help with opening and closing the store.
• Work the register; process sales transactions and use your fandom knowledge to drive add‑on sales, closing out the register as needed.
• Assist with planogram changes including store map, wall, fixture, and merchandising mix.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and relevant HQ partners.
• Guard against misuse of store “spells” and ensure no theft or policy violations occur.
• Support store maintenance, keeping the stock room organized and the store tidy.
• Train and coach new Sales Associates, helping them quickly acclimate to the team.
• Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.

What You’ll Need

Pay : $18.35 - $21.10 an hour

Please note the pay range for this position starts as listed in the job posting, but other factors such as an individual’s education, location, meeting the minimum job requirements for the role, training, and experience will determine the final salary for potential new hires.
