Assistant Controller

Daily Responsibilities :

• Contribute to daily accounting tasks and complete the month-end reporting cycle for multiple companies
• Prepare monthly financial reports, analysis tools and other ad hoc reports
• Review bank records, perform bank reconciliations, and process payments
• Reconcile and enter monthly credit card transactions
• Maintain records of monthly fixed assets, depreciation, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting activities
• Support month-end and year-end requirements
• Collaborate with the Controller, management and various teams within the organization
• Act as a backup for payroll review and assist with payroll entries
• Lead knowledge base in company databases and ERP systems
• Identify, troubleshoot, document and resolve company ERP issues
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency
• Comply with all occupational health and safety requirements
