Job description

Job Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Business Systems, as the Business Systems Data Specialist  you will maintain accurate records and databases within the organizations Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) business systems. You also provide administrative support related to maintenance of accurate records for their assigned business units.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

  • Maintaining accurate databases within business systems.
  • Collaborating with the business unit to meet goals and timelines in implementing data and software systems.
  • Researching and analyzing end-user issues and provide solutions.
  • Reviewing reports generated from systems on a regular basis to ensure system integrity or connectivity.
  • Identifying areas of improvement to reduce overall application maintenance and improve reliability.
  • Providing guidance to internal staff on system related activities, and assist with troubleshooting user issues.

  • Essential Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of related experience in data entry.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and SharePoint), and project management software (NewStar, BuildPro, NSWeb or similar).

  • Work Conditions

    You primarily work remotely during regular business hours with occasional travel to the office as necessary. Overtime may occasionally be required.
