Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Program Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of Programming for Participants under the Brampton NEXT Program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing programming activities, including mentor and partner recruitment, scheduling program activities, coordinating events, and managing participant engagement. This role is essential in ensuring the successful delivery of the program and maintaining high-quality standards.
About the Brampton NEXT Program
The Brampton NEXT Program is a cornerstone initiative by BHive, aiming to bolster the entrepreneurial landscape of Brampton and the GTA. Participants through this program will be provided comprehensive training, mentorship, and resources to launch and grow successful businesses. The program focuses on practical skills, technology integration, financial acumen, and sustainable practices, all while providing robust support for participants' integration into the Canadian business ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Program Design
Coordinate the delivery of business advisory services and support to help international entrepreneurs launch and develop successful businesses.
Closely work with your manager to develop programming and settlement services for Participants in the program, including one-on-one support, workshops and events.
Develop a program that is well-researched and meets the needs of Participants.
Identify, recruit, and onboard mentors, industry experts, and partners to contribute to program delivery and maintain relationships.
Ensure sufficient personnel, subcontractors, and resources are available to support implementation and meet program objectives and KPIs.
Collect and manage feedback from Participants, Business Development and the Market Team to inform program improvements.
Program Implementation
Identify industry leaders, peer to peer, networks, subject matter experts from within Brampton.
Centralized resources and tools and facilitate access through a digital marketplace.
Allocate and manage access to space for Program Participants.
Provide support during evening workshops and occasional weekend events as required.
Reporting and Monitoring
Execute streamlined processes to report and track project outcomes.
Ensure program records and CRM systems are accurately maintained and kept up to date.
Maintain processes to monitor goals and outcomes of the program.
Respond to ad hoc requests, set program quality and performance standards, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges with implementation.
Support the finance team with tracking and monitoring of the program budget.
Maintain accurate records of program activities, mentor and partner engagements, and participant progress.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
