Job description

Randstad Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Director of Marketing to join a rapidly growing telecommunication organization in the North of Winnipeg.

Do you have a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Marketing Professional in a corporate setting? Are you a creative thinker and can come up with innovative ideas? Do you have a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Economics? Are you an outstanding communicator, and enjoy building relationships? Do you possess above-average problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities? Do you have previous marketing experience in the telecommunication and / or tech industry?

Do you have great business acumen, a high degree of credibility, and enjoy working with senior leadership?

This role directly reports to the VP of Operations and does not have any direct reports. The right candidate for this role is hands-on and enjoys rolling up their sleeves.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and developing marketing strategies while promoting brand identity and culture
  • Strategic planning, brand management, campaign execution, market research
  • Managing budgets and performance analysis
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (media, government, boards, etc.)
  • Analyze market trends and working closely with the sales team
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP
  • Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Economics
  • 10+ years of experience as a Marketing Manager
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Critical and creative thinking abilities
  • Great knowledge of digital and traditional marketing tactics and best practices
  • Ability to work well independently but also as part of a team
  • Strong Business acumen, ability to develop and execute strategic plans
