What you will do :
Provide customers with a professional, approachable and informative service on all products (plumbing and lighting)Identify customer needs & wants and provide a consultative / solution based serviceCollaborate on design planning with creative & tailored recommendations (contractors and customers)Develop quotations, process sales orders, manage deliveries and returnsRespond to all customer inquiries and action new opportunitiesResolve all concerns & issuesAs the first point of contact you will be required to offer prompt product knowledge and information to customers in a professional mannerRespond to customers in a timely manner in person, by phone or emailPrepare small order quotations on urgent contracting jobsPick customer orders from warehousePerform necessary product research in catalogues and onlineVerify all items are available for the customer as ordered and scheduledResponsible for building positive relationships with customers and associatesTake initiative to maintain stock of the counter area as neededOffer help and assistance in the warehouse if requiredWhat you will bring :
Previous retail sales experience requiredA flair for design or design background is preferredHigh level of commitment to exceptional customer serviceExcellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skillsRequires a self-motivated team player capable of managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environmentProfessional demeanor and presentationComputer proficiency an assetAbility to work both individually and in a team environmentKnowledge of the plumbing or lighting industry an assetPost-Secondary experience in Business or a related program preferred
