Director of Sales

Salary: $125-150,000 per year

The Reporting to the CEO Director of Sales will plan and execute the company sales strategy with a focus on business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Owns pricing strategy and margin targets
• Leads sales administration and CRM processes to manage customer pipeline and account creation
• Develops and maintains sales plans for all outside sales reps
• Coordinate sales training and vendor product education
• Defines product mix and brand positioning strategy
• Oversees advertising and overall brand direction
• Lead, develop and motivate sales team
• Develop and provide insightful reports on sales performance, market trends and competitor activity

Qualifications

• Formal Education in commerce, sales and marketing, or other relevant education or equivalent training and experience
• 10+ years of progressive experience in sales role with 3+ years in senior leadership role
• Solid experience with sales plan implementation
• Highly tech savvy with strong knowledge of ERP and other computer systems/programs
• Knowledge of welding processes and products is an asset but not mandatory
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Prior e-commerce experiences an asset but not mandatory
• Strong analytical skills with ability to assess market trends and drive data-informed strategies
• Ability to travel throughout the sales region
• Full G license, clean driver's abstract
