Speech Pathologist Speech Therapy Corporate

This position will report to the Clinical Services Manager Professional Practitioner.

Accountabilities:

• Assessment and management of dysphagia using clinical and instrumental assessment
• Communication and screening/assessment and management
• Providing education resources and referral to patients and families in a clear and accessible manner
• Completing assessments and relays findings to patients families and inter-professional teams in a timely manner to facilitate access and flow
• Participating as part of the speech-language pathology team attending meetings and education sessions where required

Qualifications :

• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literacy; experience with Meditech an asset
• Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a fast paced medical environment
• Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team
• Experience with videofluoroscopy an asset
• Experience with tracheostomies an asset

• Excellent attendance punctuality and work record required
• May be required to travel between and work at all Osler sites

Additional Information :

Hours: Currently days/evenings including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Salary:

Minimum: $44.69 hourly

Maximum: $57.93 hourly
