Toromont Cat is seeking a Machinist at our Bradford location. Our Machinist is responsible for the custom repair and restoration of mechanical parts and components relating to machinery repair in the workshops of the Toromont Reman division.

In a typical day, YOU will:

• Demonstrate safe work and environmentally sound behaviours at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
• Responsible for manufacturing hydraulic cylinders
• Custom repair and restoration of mechanical parts and components relating to machinery repair
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace & performing basic maintenance functions
• Restore damaged steel and cast iron components by welding, line boring, disassembling and assembling of relative components
• Maintain an inventory of materials used for fabrication process and account to various projects based on usage

Must-haves for this role:

• A certificate of Qualification as a General Machinist
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years as a General Machinist in a custom or Tool Room environment with primary experience in machinery component repair and rebuild
