JOB SUMMARY
The QA Inspector is responsible for meticulously inspecting jewelry from outside vendors to ensure all specifications match SKU requirements. You'll also inspect new jewelry for defects before approving it for distribution to our division stores. Additionally, you'll oversee the accurate entry of Quality Assurance statistics and manage RTV paperwork.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Inspect fine goods including diamonds, gemstones, and finished jewelry.
- Document inspection results and enter gemological data into our computer database.
- Notify appropriate personnel of any discrepancies in orders promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with our Maryland service team to address customer requests.
- Utilize standard, high-tech, and specialty gemological testing equipment for examinations and data collection as needed for research projects.
