Job description

IF YOU ARE INVITED IN FOR AN INTERVIEW YOU MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND AN IN-OFFICE INTERVIEW.

The successful candidate will perform the following :

  • GMAW welding process of production products.
  • Diligent in following sequential steps of setting up a job, tack welding, dimensional verification, welding, and inspection modular fixturing tables and various inspection tools.
  • Housekeeping and 5S duties on a daily basis.
  • Packaging, tagging and labeling along with other manufacturing duties as required.
  • This will require operation of a jib crane (in-house training provided).

Qualifications :

  • A minimum 1 year previous experience as a welder, current CWB ticket an asset but not required.
  • An ability to competently use modular fixturing table, read welding blueprints, use a variety of inspection tools including vernier / calipers, and weld size gauges.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Must have high attention to detail, able to follow written and verbal instruction, and work within a communicated timeline.
  • Ability to work both independently, and as a team player.
  • Good physical capability, and a “can do” attitude is a definite asset.
  • Must be able to show proof of Grade 12 diploma if requested.

    • Requirements :

  • Proof of Secondary School Diploma.
  • Clean shaven if required.
