Our client is a local organization committed to ensuring there is infrastructure in place to serve some of the most vulnerable in society.
They are currently recruiting a Financial Analyst to support these initiatives and be a critical member of the Finance Team.
The Financial Analyst will serve as the project manager for government, foundation, and corporate grants and expenditures across the organization, ensuring compliance with grant guidelines.
The role includes ensuring accurate and timely revenue reconciliations, assisting senior directors in reviewing complex funding agreements and budgets, and managing monthend closing procedures.
The Financial Analyst will also support the Director of Finance in variance analysis and forecasting, and the external audit process.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing insurance processes, banking relationships, and participating in accounting policy.

Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- CPA designation or enrollment in an accredited accounting designation program
- 5+ years' related experience or equivalent combination
- Experience with GAAP for NPOs including accounting for grants
- Experience using automated accounting and database systems
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
